Brookfield Properties partners with Hub Australia to offer tenants free corporate lounge hospitality experience

Brookfield Properties has teamed up with flexible workspace specialist, Hub Australia, to provide a free premium lounge to tenants in its $2 billion Brookfield Place Sydney project currently under development integrated with Wynyard station.

Hub Australia will occupy ~4,000 sqm of space over two levels in the project’s new 27-storey commercial office tower, with 400 sqm of that tenancy to be set aside as a free premium lounge for Brookfield Place Sydney tenants and Hub Australia customers.

Carl Schibrowski, Executive Vice President and Co-Head at Brookfield Properties, said: “Right across the globe we continue to see new innovations in workspace. By working collaboratively with our key office tenants – NAB, Allianz and Brookfield – we have developed a model that will provide free breakout spaces for their workers as well as access to premium, pay for service flex space through Hub Australia’s services and facilities.”

“We wanted to bring a great flexible workspace offer to Brookfield Place Sydney to meet the growing demand from businesses for flexibility in the way they deliver for their people and customers alongside their permanent office space,” said Mr Schibrowski.

“We knew very early on in our talks with Hub Australia that there was a very strong cultural alignment to the premium nature of the Brookfield Place Sydney project.

“The business lounge will provide areas for tenants to conduct business transactions away from regular office spaces, as well as provide real flexibility by way of additional workspaces, meeting rooms and conferencing facilities.”

Founded by CEO Brad Krauskopf in 2011, Hub Australia has a well-earned reputation for providing hospitality-inspired premium facilities and services.

Mr Krauskopf said: “The flexible workspace industry continues to evolve at a rapid pace. In the wake of COVID-19, there is new importance for landlords and tenants to provide attractive spaces and provide flexibility to all businesses. Hub Australia offers this in all of our locations and will continue providing these high-quality spaces in the future.”

“Hub Bespoke has been developed to assist landlords to add value to their buildings and create more attractive spaces for tenants. Our partnership will allow us to deliver Hub’s premium-level hospitality experience to all tenants in the flexible workspace, business lounge, café, and serviced meeting spaces operated at Brookfield Place Sydney.”

Brookfield Place Sydney is currently under construction and is due to begin welcoming its new tenants in mid-2021.
