Shell House wins prestigious engineering award

Together with our partners TTW, Make Architects, Multiplex Constructions and Brookfield Properties, we are thrilled to announce that Shell House has been awarded the prestigious Australian Engineering Excellence Award in the 2020 Australian Engineering Excellence Awards!

Over the last six years Architectus and Make Architects have been collaborating on the restoration of the heritage building as part of the broader precinct project Brookfield Place Sydney. One of the city’s finest surviving examples of the Inter-War Commercial Palazzo style, Shell House was designed by Australian architect Spain and Cosh for the Shell Oil Company’s Sydney Headquarters.

Congratulations to the entire team for all their hard work on this complex heritage project.
